The special construction of the inlet minimises product chopping. The incorporated sheer protector in the inlet ensures optimum filling of the rotor bag. Three different body types are available for the GL: all stainless steel, stainless steel body with aluminum end covers, and all aluminium.

The full-end disc-rotor is made of stainless steel 316. The GL valves come in 5 sizes, covering a capacity range from approximately 5 to 79 liters per revolution at 100% filling.
