Hybrid gas/electric dryer Geelen
At LGPM, we offer Geelen Counterflow Hybrid Gas/Electric Dryers. The exhaust air from the dryer comprises almost all of the energy that has been used to evaporate the product’s moisture. We can recover much of the energy and water from the exhaust air with our new Counterflow Recovery Unit. This means that we will reduce the dryer’s net energy consumption by up to 65 percent .

In the Counterflow Recovery Machine, an electric heat pump is used to produce both the cold water we need to condense the wet air, as well as the hot water we need to heat up the drying air inside the dryer. This way, instead of gas or steam, we can run the entire dryer on electricity.
